Puppy pictures
We start vaccinations on our puppies at 5 weeks. Our first two series of shots, given approximately two weeks apart, include measles/distemper and the following four (4) parvo vaccinations: Killed canine, Modified Live Canine, Corona Virus and KF-11. We refuse to use the mixtures of parvos and distempers since we know of several puppies to succumb to parvo that were given the mixtures of 6 or 7 in 1 vaccines given in one syringe. Think about it, when people are given shots, each type (typhoid, smallpox, etc.) is given separately. And, for the human combination shots such as DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, and tetanus) are the very ones that children have had severe adverse reactions. Many physicians will no longer give the DPT shot, giving each shot separately. Many veterinarians are aware of the risks of these combinations shot, yet continue to use them. Since we instigated this policy, we have never had a adverse reaction or parvo, and we suggest this method for your use also. We provide puppy and adult shots for a fraction of the cost of going to a veterinarian clinic. ADULTS & TEENAGERS: Individuals in need of a dog that can provide immediate protection should not consider a very young puppy. This choice should be at least a teenage dog and preferably an adult. Prices vary depending on the quality and on the degree of training of the adult etc.
